| Final Parel van de Betuwe summary and new pictures | 2008-04-23

Sebastiaan took some awesome pictures at the most recent gig we played and now we've uploaded some for you to view!
| The final was awesome, we were the last band from the draw so we had to play around 23:30. Finally we got to show we're capable of finishing a night. We played a heavy set featuring "God Amongst Man", "Rise Above" and old-time favourite "Follow your Nightmare". Also we played "Sanctification of Savagery" live for the second time. (new song - available for download!)
As for the finishing touch, "Angel of Death" from Slayer made a storm pass through 22. We chose to perform a Slayer song as a tribute to dedicated Sutekh supporters.
Sutekh proudly won the 2nd prize, but especially the crowd reactions made us feel good. Thanks to everyone who was there supporting us and keep it brutal!
